Coeur d’Alene idaho screening set

Twenty years after its premiere, The Fall of ’55 continues to bring Idaho history into the conversation.

On October 6, The Fall of ’55 will be screened by the North Idaho Pride Alliance as part of its LGBTQ History Month programming.

Our director Seth Randal will be joining via Zoom following the screening for a conversation and Q&A about the film, the 1955 Boise crackdown that it documents, and the process of bringing this largely forgotten history to the screen.

North Idaho has its own important LGBTQ history, and conversations like this help connect that history with the broader story of Idaho.

October 6, 2026, 5 p.m.
